De acuerdo con la información proporcionada por la Dirección Meteorológica de Chile, mediante su alerta meteorológica emitida durante la pasada jornada, se prevé el paso de un sistema frontal que afectará con precipitaciones y viento en la Región Metropolitana.
Los montos de precipitación se estiman débiles para el miércoles 05; moderado a fuerte para el jueves 06 y normal a moderado para el viernes 07. Respecto al viento, se prevé de intensidad normal a moderada en el interior para el día jueves 06. Adicionalmente, la isoterma 0 °C se presentará entre los 2.200 y 2.900 metros el jueves 06 y en los 1.800 metros para el viernes 08.
En consideración a estos antecedentes, la Dirección Regional de ONEMI Metropolitana declara Alerta Temprana Preventiva Regional por sistema frontal, vigente a contar de hoy y hasta que las condiciones así lo ameriten.
La declaración de dicha alerta, se constituye como un estado de reforzamiento de las condiciones de vigilancia, mediante el monitoreo preciso y riguroso de las condiciones de riesgo y las respectivas condiciones de vulnerabilidad asociadas a la amenaza, coordinando y activando al Sistema de Protección Civil con el fin de actuar oportunamente frente a eventuales situaciones de emergencia.
